Wow...I almost forgot to mention it. We actually got to go to an Olympic hockey game on Wednesday February 17th. The game was played at UBC - Swiss and Slovak womens' teams but we went downtown early and checked out some of the venues. It is amazing to think that this is most likely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Although I'm not a sports nut, it's still pretty awesome that we are having the olympics in our own hometown. Of course we might be paying for many years to come but I guess that's part of the big picture. Tomorrow night my sister-in-law Pam and her daughter Stephanie are coming from Edmonton because Stephanie is playing guitar and singing down there. I googled Steph and she is pretty famous around Edmonton and she is pretty good too. It will be great to see them.
